Chick Pea / छोला / काबूली चना


If you have to prepare chick pea(kaabuli chana), but you had not soaked them in water before, then this tip will help you to cook those even
without soaking it for hours. Steps to do so are as follows:

  1. Wash chick peas properly and place it in a cooker. Fill water 2 inches  above their surface.
  2. Allow a whistle and turn off the gas.
  3. After the pressure gets down, the chick pea(chhole)  would be as they are after soaking them for 7-8 hours.
  4. Now, you can cook them as usual.
