Recipe - instant Jalebi

Here's the 22nd recipe of the Quarantine Segment.

It's the famous Indian sweet which is consumed as breakfast in many cities. It's none other than Jalebi.

Jalebis are one of those which we tend to buy from restaurants and sweet shops. But many people in this lockdown are missing them.

So, why don't you try this sweet recipe once, and fall for its goodness. Also making them at home will provide you with satisfaction of quality and hygiene.



Instant Jalebi





Ingredients -

For jalebi -

All purpose flour - 3 cup
Curd -1 cup
Rice flour - half cup
Baking powder -  1 tsp.
Water according to semi thick consistency (approx 1½ cup)
Clarified butter (Ghee) - for deep frying

For Sugar syrup -

1cup sugar
Half cup water..


Method -

For Sugar syrup


Boil altogether for 5 minutes...
Can add green cardamom, pista and saffron.

For jalebi
  1. Mix all the ingredients and keep the mixture aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Now whip the mix vigorously, so that it gets filled up with air.
  3. Then in a pan add ghee and with the help of Jalebi maker(you may make it with a polythene cone) make Jalebis. Shallow fry the Jalebis till they become crispy.

 Add hot fried Jalebi in hot Sugar syrup one by one for tasty and crispy Jalebi🥨🥨
