Recipe : Dhaba Special Palak Paneer


On the demand of one of the reader of my blog “shadesoflife18”, I’ve posted this recipe. So you can enjoy another flavor of palak paneer.

Dhaba Special Palak  Paneer

Ingredients:

Spinach –  250 gm.
Cottage cheese (Paneer) –  200 gm.
Ghee - 1tbsp
Tomato – 3 medium
Onion – 2medium
Garlic – 4 to 6 pods
Ginger – ½ inch
Green chilly –as per your taste
Salt  - as per taste
Method:
  1. Clean & wash the spinach, thoroughly.
  2. Blanch (slightly boil) the leaves and make puree of it.
  3. Cut cottage cheese into small cubes.
  4. Heat up clarified butter in a wok.
  5. Now, add chopped onion, garlic and ginger into the wok. Sauté it.
  6. Add chopped tomato, salt. Stir it.
  7. When tomatoes get little bit soften, add the spinach puree, cottage cheese cubes. Mix it well.
  8. After a while, add water & allow it to boil, so that it attains desired consistency.
  9. Serve it with hot chapattis and rice.

Note

  • In place of chopped Tomato you can add tomato puree. It enhances the taste and avoid tomato peel. 
  • If you are not diet conscious, then you can add 2 tbsp butter. It increases the Creamy texture and enhance the taste too.
