Porridge Delight

“Porridge! yucksss!”  Thinking of porridge, this is the feeling we get.
Now, just think of, if someone (even kids) says “Porridge! Yummy!”. Yes, this is the compliment you will start getting, once you get on to the recipe.
This innovative recipe of mine is brought forward with a thought that we can have a healthy dish which is also delightful. So, now no compromise on health to get taste.
This is a tasty dish which one can prepare for almost all sort of persons, say it a kid, someone aged , a diabetic, a post operated person on restricted diet, even a heart patient, etc. In a nutshell, it’s a tasty healthy dish, which you can plate even to your guests.
                                                               
Ingredients:

Porridge (Dalia)                              250 gm.
Potato                                             1medium (boiled & small diced )
Tomato                                           1 medium size small chopped
Pea                                                  25 gm.  
Capsicum                                        1medium diced
Onion                                              1medium size small chopped
Cauliflower                                     25gm.small chopped
Carrot                                             1 small size finely chopped
Frenchbeans                                   25 gm.small chopped
Paneer                                            25 gm. small diced
Ghee                                               1 tbsp.
Salt                                                  according to taste
Butter                                              1 tbsp
Water                                              1.5 glass
Maggi  masala                                  according to taste

For garnishing:   

Chili
Coriander
Method :
  1. Roast porridge in a wok (kadai) till it is slight brown.
  2. Add water to it &  let it boil.
  3. In another wok, take ghee. Sauté onion in it. Add tomato to it and stir till it is soften. Add all other veggies, and salt. Cover it with lid and let it cook.
  4. Now add capsicum, and stir it a bit. Add dices of paneer & boiled potato. Sprinkle maggi masala on it. Finally add boiled porridge & mix it well.
  5. Stir it for some time till it is slightly browned. (achchhe se bhoon le)
  6. Switch off the gas. Add butter & mix it well.
  7. Serve with the garnish of coriander & green chilies

N.B.
  • According to your taste you can make it more tangy or more spicy.
  • If your are health conscious ,you can avoid ghee and butter and use olive oil
