The winters have started and having parantha in such weather
makes you bloom. So, why not to start with a parantha which is liked by all –
from children to aged people – whose temptation cannot be stopped. It’s none
other than Paneer ka parantha
Paneer ka
parantha
Ingredients:
- Paneer- ½ kg
- Wheat flour- 250 grams
- Coriander -25 grams
- Green chilli- 2 to 3 (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Cumin -1/2 teaspoon
- Maggi masala-1 and ½ spoon (optional)
- Butter or pure ghee for making paratha
Method:
- Take flour and add salt to it.
- Knead it into soft dough. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, grate paneer, add salt, cumin, maggi masala, chopped coriander and chilli. Mix it well.
- Divide the dough into nine portions. Make balls from them.
- Also, divide the paneer mixture in nine portions.
- Fill each ball(prepared in step 4) with a portion of paneer mixture.
- Cover the mixture, and flatten the ball. Then, roll them out using a rolling pin(बेलन). Remember, roll the balls flat with gentle pressure.
- Heat the frying pan.
- Put the parantha on the heated frying pan.
- Cook the paranthas by flipping, until both the sides become golden brown.
- Apply butter on both the sides and roast it at low flame till they become crispy
