Parenting Tip : How to teach kids

How to teach kids

1. Don't slap/beat & even scold them while making them study.

2. Fun while study: To make the study interesting, convert it into a game. Let your kids learn while playing the game, like number game, maths table game(Kaun Banega Mathspati), rhyme game (kalakar no. 1), spelling game(the English master), etc. Kids would love to play games with you. You should also get involved with them in such games.

3. Split & combine: Split the topic in parts and make them learn part by part; then combine the parts to make the topic complete. This way you can make them learn easily.

4. Logical learners: Today's kids are getting more and more logical. So, make them understand the meaning of things, let them visualise and learn through logics. You might get surprised to know, if they start building their own logics which you'll also find right.

5. Study time vs leisure time: If the time when you want the kid to study is their leisure time (favourite program time/play time), they might not take interest in the studies. Or if at even study time, they are not interested to study, let them enjoy their this part of life but with a promise to study later and then make them study as they promised. They will fulfill their promise as they want you to fulfill your promises. And this will give you better results in less time.

6. Born winners: The kids are born winners - they love to win. Utilise their winner instinct in making them understand the value of education.

7. Appreciation: We all know that, "Nothing motivates better than self - motivation". And, the children get self - motivated when they get appreciation. So, appreciate kids for every achievement, even the smaller ones. Every parent brings things like toys, pencil, tiffin box, chocolate, ice cream, etc. You can utilise such things and even smaller things; You can also plan something like dine out, watching movies, playing with them, outings, etc.
