Nutritious Tiffin Recipe : Cheese veggie wrap

My previous Nutritious Tiffin Recipe of Fruit Sandwich was liked by many. In furtherance to that and utilizing the fullness of  Winter vegetables basket, here's another Nutritious Tiffin Recipe. This would also loot up your hearts. Besides being nutritious and full of veggies, this will definitely be loved by kiddos. So, presenting:

Cheese veggie wrap





Ingredients:

  • All purpose flour (maida) - 250 gm.
  • Salt - ¼ tsp
  • Sugar - ¼ tsp
  • Milk - ½ cup
  • Clarified Butter (Ghee) - for roasting wraps
All veggies are 25 gm. each (you can add or subtract any veggie according to your kids taste)

  • Mushroom
  • Capsicum
  • Beans
  • Pea
  • Carrot
  • Broccoli
  • Sweet corn
  • Baby corn
  • Paneer
  • Onion
  • Butter - 2 tbs 
  • Cheese slice - 12 no. (cut in small piece)
  • Tomato sauce - 1½ tbsp
Method:
  • Add salt, sugar and milk to maida.
  • Make a soft dough out of it & let it rest for ½ an hour.
  • In a pressure cooker, add 1 tbs butter and all the chopped veggies accept (capsicum and paneer) and allow 2 whistle at high flame
  • In a wok, add butter & chopped onion, to it. Sauté it, now add capsicum, sauté it, then add crumble paneer and all the veggies and salt to it. Mix it well.
  • When the veggies get little bit dry, add tomato sauce to it.
  • Prepare a  very thin chapatti from the dough.
  • Put a cheese slice pieces on the chapatti. Now, add the mixture of veggies onto it & finally, cover it again with cheese slice pieces. Make this preparation in the middle of the chapatti, in vertical manner.
  • Now, cover the whole with another chapatti(made by the same process).
  • Seal the cheese slices and veggie mix within the chapattis, by pressing its edges.
  • Take a pan and place some ghee over it. Preheat the pan.
  • Now, place the chapatti on the pan and roast (सेंक) it, like a parantha.
  • The cheese veggie wrap is ready.
