There are two ways of having dry-fruits; one is raw and the other is roasted. Here's a tip for roasting groundnuts, gorgon nuts, etc.
Add rock salt( सेंधा नमक) while roasting dry-fruits. Therein, salt will play the role of moisture-absorber. This will result in faster roasting and long-lasting crispiness.
Whereas, if the salt is added after roasting, it would release water. Due to this, the dry-fruits would not retain the crispiness for long.
