poha! It’s a new innovative recipe, with a delicate taste. it is soft from inside and crispy from outside. Hence, presenting
Ingredients (for 16 small vade):
Chiwda Vada
Ingredients (for 16 small vade):
- Thin flattened rice {maheen chiwda/poha} 50gm
- Boiled potato 4 small-sized
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves 10gm
- Green chilies 2-3
- Clarified butter {Ghee} 2tbsp
Method:
- Clean and wash chiwda, thoroughly. Let it stand for 15 minutes.
- Mash the potatoes.
- Add finely chopped coriander leaves, chilies, salt and chiwda. Mix it well.
- Now, make small balls out of this mixture. Flatten them to give a vada shape.
- Heat a frying pan and add ghee to it.
- Place the vade onto the pan and shallow fry them from both the sides till they become golden.
Note:- You may also add
chopped onion in the 3rd step. It would make the vade juicy.
