How to reduce itchiness of itchy veggies
There are some veggies which we are truly fond of; but as they cause itching in our throat, we need to compromise. If these tips are followed, then the itching sensation won't happen and you will be able to enjoy the tasty veggie.- The veggies should be peeled, properly,coz skin of these type of veggies gives more itching sensation
- Before cooking, either fry or boil it.coz if the veggie remains even slightly uncooked ( sort of al-danté)it may give itching sensation.
- If you like tangy flavour, you may add something tangy into it (like a bit of lemon juice, tomato, tamarind pulp or amchur powder).it also reduces itchiness of the veggie.
- These steps remove the itching tendancy from the veggies.
These tips can be used in Colocasia in masala gravy, Patra, etc.
