आज का दिन हर बच्चे की जिंदगी की वजह होती है या यूं कहें कि बच्चे के अस्तित्व की पहचान होती है।

पिता, एक ऐसा रिश्ता, जो हमारे जीवन को अस्तित्व, सुरक्षा और मार्गदर्शन प्रदान करता है। वो उतना ही जरूरी है, जैसे पौधे के लिए सूर्य... जिसकी तपिश से लग सकता है कि पौधा झुलस जाएगा, पर अगर सूरज ना हो तो पौधा पनप ही नहीं पाएगा।

इसी भाव को उकेरती, अद्वय की एक भावपूर्ण कविता...

When my situation is the worst,

And even optimists resign,

When the hopes are lost, 

And the problems combine,

O dear father, 

You become the divine. 

When I score too poor, 

And my performances decline,

O dear father, 

You become the divine.

When I have no resources,

And I can only whine, 

O dear father, 

You become the divine.

When I become way too arrogant,

And think of myself as Einstein, 

O dear father, 

You become the divine.

When there is no positivity, 

And even the evils don’t confine,

O dear father, 

You become the divine.

When there’s chaos all around,

And my stars don’t intertwine,

O dear father, 

You become the divine.
