The festival of Eid is there and what comes to our mind first
is the sweet smooth Sevaiyan. In other words, Sevaiyan & Eid are
complementary to each other. With Sevaiyan on the thought, let’s not wait
further to prepare it. Here is the recipe
Sevaiyan Kheer
Ingredients:
Amul Full Cream Milk : 2L
Roasted Sevaiyan : 75 gm
(Long Cut or Maheen)
Sugar :250gm or
As per taste.
Dry Fruits : As per your liking.
Almond, Cashew, Pista, Raisin
As per taste.
Dry Fruits : As per your liking.
Almond, Cashew, Pista, Raisin
Method:
- Put milk for boiling.
- Once it takes a boil, put the flame sim & keep stirring intermittently.
- Once the milk is thickened to about 1 ½ L, add sugar to taste & keep stirring.
- Let the milk thicken to about 1 ¼ L & then add the Sevaiyan to it.
- Adding dry fruits:
- Add dry fruits according to your
choice & taste (e.g. if you like roated dry fruits, then prepare
accordingly).
- You can drop the dry fruits which are not liked in your family.
- You can also opt for only garnishing your sevaiyan with finely chopped dry fruits.
Your Sevaiyan is ready to serve. Serve it hot. Else
refrigerate it, if you wanna serve it cold.
