On the
demand of one of the reader of my blog “shadesoflife18”, I’ve posted this
recipe. So you can enjoy another flavor of palak paneer.
Dhaba Special
Palak Paneer
Ingredients:
Spinach
– 250 gm.
Cottage cheese
(Paneer) – 200 gm.
Ghee - 1tbsp
Tomato – 3 medium
Tomato – 3 medium
Onion – 2medium
Garlic – 4 to
6 pods
Ginger – ½
inch
Green chilly
–as per your taste
Salt - as per taste
Method:
- Clean & wash the spinach, thoroughly.
- Blanch (slightly boil) the leaves and make puree of it.
- Cut cottage cheese into small cubes.
- Heat up clarified butter in a wok.
- Now, add chopped onion, garlic and ginger into the wok. Sauté it.
- Add chopped tomato, salt. Stir it.
- When tomatoes get little bit soften, add the spinach puree, cottage cheese cubes. Mix it well.
- After a while, add water & allow it to boil, so that it attains desired consistency.
- Serve it with hot chapattis and rice.
Note
- In place of chopped Tomato you can add tomato puree. It enhances the taste and avoid tomato peel.
- If you are not diet conscious, then you can add 2 tbsp butter. It increases the Creamy texture and enhance the taste too.
